Kids Kitchen Oasis –Summer Cooking, Gardening &  STEAM Lab combines experimentation, cooking, gardening, and the astonishing power of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math with mouth-watering recipes to create a memorable culinary adventure for all young chefs in training from Jr. Master Chefs to newbies in the kitchen!

 ADD flavor, SUBTRACT dullness, and MULTIPLY education, entertainment, and delight while making culinary masterpieces and learning how to grow food.

The FORMULA  for an appetizing day engages kids in cooking, gardening, science, technology, engineering, art, and math. 

It fabricates delicious creations and learn about the importance of food and how to use it to nourish themselves and those they love.

Having your kids attend Kids Kitchen Oasis Cooking, Gardening, and STEAM Lab is an investment that will contribute to better health, wealth, and community that will last their whole lives.

Cooking is just as creative and imaginative an activity as a drawing, or wood carving or music. And cooking draws upon your every talent; and science, mathematics, energy, history, and experience.

Kids Kitchen Oasis –Summer Food &  STEAM Lab is virtual  garden to table summer experience for kids ages 7- 13.

Students engage daily in the multifaceted nature of food from seed to waste through activities like sprouting seeds, nature observational walks, tending to a garden, harvest food grown from our own hands, doing food “science” experiments, painting still lives of our vegetables, and creating food memory books. 

Kids Kitchen Oasis –Summer Food &  STEAM Lab teaches cooking in an interdisciplinary approach using food as a catalyst to teach about all aspects of life.

An investment in teaching your child to cook sets a foundation for them to nourish and nurture themselves forever, those they care about and the earth that feeds them.

1: 8 ratio of Chef/Educator to Chef Camper supervision at all times. There is a minimum of 12 Chef Campers needed for each session to run.

Cooking is a way to teach kids about things, like reading or math with all of the weights and measures.

– Greetings and a short wellness exercise

– A combination of activities including demonstrations of appropriate techniques, tastings, customized culinary art activity, garden lesson, science/ecological lab-based on theme for the day. 

– Virtual visits from local food artisans, chefs, gardeners, bakers, candy makers, restaurants, owners. Each day students will work in teams for the hands-on experience of preparing their own meal.

– The menus are based on what is fresh in the market and in our teaching garden. We also consider our Jr Chefs  preferences and palates.

Each day is centered around food themes that include cooking, gardening, food production, preserving, science, art, sustainability, food justice, etiquette, and culture.  Whether Jr. Chef  wants a career in the culinary arts, or they just love to cook, Kids Kitchen Oasis is the place to learn from the best.

Our 5-star chef/educators  and stellar art and garden teachers s will help your child discover the connoisseur within by teaching them to cook, make art, garden and appreciate where their food comes from with virtual field trips and visits with food professionals and artisans that are famed from all around the world.
